Your first professional role with the divemaster course. Build leadership, guide certified divers, and represent the spirit of scuba diving. Entry requires 40 verified logged dives plus training in Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility (or at least five logged dives in each), along with Diver Stress & Rescue. On successful completion, you are certified as a Dive Guide.
Ready to go further? Move on to the Divemaster Upgrade to prepare for a scuba instructor course and broader responsibilities. The upgrade requires a minimum of 60 logged and verified dives. You can upgrade anytime by studying Science of Diving, passing the digital final exam, and advancing to SSI Professional status.
