If you’re looking to level up and become a Certified Dive Instructor (Open Water Instructor), you need to have a Divemaster certification or an equivalent. The first step is to enroll in the Assistant Instructor course and Instructor Training Course with digital learning. Once you complete the Instructor Training Course, you’ll participate in the Instructor Evaluation (IE) to become a Certified Open Water Dive Instructor. This 10-day program will guide you to teach core programs independently like scuba diving, Open Water diving, Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue, and Dive Guide. If you’d prefer to take more time and gain teaching experience between the programs, you can take the steps separately: Assistant Instructor, Instructor Training Course (ITC), and Instructor Evaluation (IE), all at your own pace and flexible schedule.
