  • Alexandra Waterfalls: Undoubtedly the tallest single-drop waterfall in Mauritius at about 100m high, the Chamarel Waterfall is a striking piece of nature standing amid dense vegetation. Fed by the waters of three distinct streams pouring into Saint Denis River, it has a powerful rush with a peak flow rate in excess of 40,000 m³ per minute

1. Make sure to get light & cozy clothes as the weather in Mauritius is Tropical. Although it is not cold get a jacket, we’ll feel a cold breeze early morning. 2. Having a raincoat and a wind breaker is essential to protect ourselves from the strong wind and some sites. We recommend that you carry changing clothes and essential personal items such as medicines with you in your hand luggage. 3. Please get your hiking shoes to be comfortable when hiking and to avoid injuries.
For divers: If you are planning to dive on this trip, please make sure of the following: 1. Inform us so we send you SSI medical questionnaire, and you must inform us if you had COVID 19 during the past 4 months. 2. Make sure to have your scuba diving license “minimum open water diver” whether it was digital or printed. 3. If you are brining your equipment with you make sure not to get the lead weights because it is prohibited at airports
Weather forecast Mauritius has warm weather all year round thanks to its location in the Indian Ocean off Africa’s southeast coast. It’s close to the Tropic of Cancer so you’ll get tropical weather and lots of sun if you’re going in Apl. Temperatures are always high, but the amount of rain changes through the year. The wet season starts at the end of November and lasts until April so you can expect the amount of rain to pick up as the month goes on. Breezes will keep you cool on the coast although it’s usually hotter here than inland. You’ll get the warmest and driest weather in the north and west because of the shelter from Mauritius’ mountains.. Mauritius in April It is a great time to spend on the beach and in the sea as the water has been warmed over the summer. There may still be heavy showers throughout the month, however these are fewer and further between and the humidity levels are starting to fall as the dry season approaches.
